HOT OFF THE PRESS!

My thoughts favor the Great Vehix. It's nice to see things like a logging truck, a tow truck, etc. The auto transporter leaves a nostalgic memory in me, as my first city set ever was the 6432 Highway Haulers. However, from what I've seen, sets from the police line are a bit flat (they're not in the video). Nonetheless you could expect a few early reviews especially since I have a bit more money that can be invested into these sets this year.
 LEGO is hitting very well with the Great Vehicles line once again; now I can't wait to see what's in store for the summer!

Aviation News from Fort Lauderdale and Miami

While Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is gracing Norwegian's 787-8 , more promising news have come from the airport, hot of the press today. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/broward/fl-southwest-terminal-makeover-20131210,0,5567298.story Southwest and the Airport have joined forces to make (long-overdue) enhancements to Terminal A. The plan is to modernize the terminal as well as provide enhanced security and concessions. Five additional gates will add capacity. This is great especially considering that this capacity is now more possible thanks to the mammoth Runway Expansion project. Meanwhile in Miami, sources are saying LAN is expected to begin flying the 787-8 into Miami starting in late August. The flight will come in when it's dark and take off after 7AM, once a week. Three Weeks Left

It is the habit of people to chant the amount of time left to the next break. It shows up a lot everywhere, especially on Facebook. Well, I guess it fits to speak of it now, writing from the hind end of the big Thanksgiving weekend. But maybe the big idea everyone is forgetting is that one will not live forever. It may be before long that one sees the heavens that determine our afterlife. My friend has an album (long term memory speaking) called "hay que disfrutar la vida" (Spanish for " You have to enjoy life ") and that title has been hitting me throughout the course of my High school years. Yes, it is torture sometimes to have to do college level work, but these years are supposed to be the most entertaining. Hell, I am among a family, a large one at that. Tolga's Takeaways, Plant City Train Show

Action on the Main Street. Todd T. Photo.   October 8 was the NMRA Sunshine Region Train Show, part of their Fall Convention meetup. The Sunshine Region comprises of four divisions of Model Train enthusiasts in the state of Florida, the North, East, West, and South, and the East Coast HO Exhibitors Society, which I am a part of, is a part of the Southern Division. Also part of the Southern Division is the South Florida Railway Museum, whose members had a large presence at this meet.  However, my main participation at the Plant City Show was with the Greater Florida LEGO Users Group. GFLUG member Todd T. and I covered this event. We had a 32'x5' space allowed for the brief set-up, which was approximately 7 hours setup to teardown.
